Note: The total ECM supply circuit resistance forms part of the
Application Appraisal. Circuits which do not meet the 50mOhm
requirement for a 12V system and 100mOhms for 24V will be classed as
a failure during the Appraisal sign off.
4.4.1 Test Procedure
Record the measured resistance value of the test resistor used. Disconnect
the J1 engine ECM plug from the ECM and connect the test apparatus as
shown in figure 4.6. Press the button for three seconds and at the same time
record the voltage measured from Voltmeter 1 and Voltmeter 2.
