13.3.4 Engine Shutdown Indicator
13.3.4.1 Engine Shutdown Indicator Operation
The engine shutdown indicator is operated upon the engine entering an
operating / fault condition which requires the engine to shut down for control /
safety reasons. If the engine monitoring system is configured to a level 3
(warn, de-rate and shutdown) then the engine may also automatically shut
down. The engine shutdown lamp is also used to in conjunction with the
Emissions system malfunction indicator to signal emissions critical faults.
13.3.4.2 Engine Shutdown Indicator configuration
The engine shutdown indicator is a mandatory fit item. There is no
configuration necessary for the Engine shutdown indicator.
