• If tie wraps are used to clamp the cables then care must be taken to
ensure that they do not clamp the cable excessively causing the
damage to the coaxial cable itself.
• Cables must be supported at regular intervals to ensure that the cable
is correctly supported. Retention points are to be located at
approximate intervals of 200 to 450mm on any cable runs to provide
the required support.
• Only plastic tie wraps and P-clips should be used to support / secure
the coaxial cable and electrical wiring harness to the soot sensor
antenna and controller to minimise the risk of damage due to abrasion.

Note: Sensor ground connection must be made via the machine wiring
harness back to battery directly. Under no circumstances should the
Ground connection for this sensor be taken to machine chassis ground.
