a mechanical
problem instead of an electronic
system problem.

When the features are activated the event will be
logged in th

E015 High Engine Coolant
Temperature Derate
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The engine has been running for at least 3 minutes.
The engine coolant temperature has exceeded the
trip point and the delay time has expired.
System Response:
The alarm output is activated. The event is logged.
Possible Performance Effect:
The engine power is reduced.
Troubleshooting:
Refer to Troubleshooting, “Coolant Temperature Is
Too High”.
Results:
OK STOP.

onse:
The alarm output is activated. The event is logged.
Possible Pe rformance Effect:
The engine o
peration is not immediately affected.
However, if the coolant temperature continues to rise,
the engine will be derated.
