Test Step 1. Check the Batteries
A. Measure no-load battery voltage at the battery
terminals.
Expected Result:
Thebatteryvoltageshouldbenolessthan11.0volts
for a 12 volt system.
The battery voltage should be no less than 22.0 volts
for a 24 volt system.
Results:
•
OK – Proceed to Test Step 2.
•
Not OK
Repair: Recharge the batteries or replace the
batteries. Verify that the repairs have eliminated
the problem.
