Troubleshooting Section
Verify that the repair has eliminated the faults.
STOP.

Not OK – The sens
or resistance is out of the
nominal range.
Repair: Perfo
rm the following procedure in order
to check and install the new sensor:
1. Before instal
ling the new sensor, measure the
resistance of the new sensor.
If the new sens
or resistance is in the correct
range, install the new sensor in the engine.
Ensure that th
e O ring is installed and free of
damage.
Seat the senso
r and tighten the setscrew.
If the sensor will not seat, repair the sensor or
replace the s
ensor, as required.
Ensure that the sensor is properly oriented
and that the h
arness is secured in the proper
location.
2. Verify that t
he repair eliminates the problem.
STOP.
