loosen the lock nut and adjust the 33.9º
stopping bolt.
5. When the angle is set, tighten the lock
nut and the bevel locking lever.
ADJUSTING THE BEVEL
STOP TO 48°
1. To set the cutting angle to 48°, pull out
the 48° stopping plate under the head
assembly, as shown in Fig. 15.
2. Lift the locking lever and tilt the head
assembly. When the bevel indication
point to 48°, tighten the locking lever.
PIVOT ADJUSTMENTS
NOTICE: These adjustments were made
at the factory, and under normal
circumstances, they do not require
re-adjustment.
Saw-arm Travel Pivot Adjustment:
The saw arm should automatically rise
(travel) completely to the full “UP” position
by itself after the head assembly locking
pin is released (Fig. 16).
To avoid risk of
personal injury, if your saw arm does not
rise by itself, or if there is play in the pivot
joints, have your saw serviced by a
qualied person before using.

Bevel Pivot Adjustment:
Your miter saw arm should bevel easily by
loosening the bevel locking lever and tilting
the saw arm to the left.
To avoid risk of
personal injury, if movement is tight or if
there is play in the bevel pivot, have your
saw serviced by a qualied person before
using.
TELESCOPING LEG (FIG. 17)
The miter saw has an integrated telescoping
leg for stability. To use this feature, just pull
out the leg as shown in Fig. 17.
