ADJUSTING THE BLADE TO THE
MITER TABLE 45° BEVEL,
0° MITER (FIG. 13a-13b)
Failure to unplug your
saw could result in accidental starting
causing serious injury.
1. Unplug the saw.
2. Lift the bevel locking lever to release
the bevel lock (Fig. 8).
3. Set the bevel-angle scale to 45°. The
miter scale should be on 0°. Lower the
saw arm and push in the lock pin to lock
the saw arm in the” DOWN” position.
4. Place a combination square on the
miter table with the rule against the table
and heel of the square against the saw
blade (Fig. 13a).
NOTICE: Be sure to rest the square
against the body of the blade, and not
against the teeth of the blade.

If the blade is not at 45° to the miter table,
perform the following adjustments.
1. Loosen the lock nut on the 45° stopping
bolt with a 5/16” open-end wrench
(available separately). The 45° stopping
bolts are located to your right as you face
the back of the saw (Fig. 13b).
2. Lift the bevel locking lever to release the
bevel lock, and then adjust the blade to
45° by adjusting the set screws clockwise
or counter-clockwise with a 5mm hex key
(available separately). You may need to
carefully move the saw arm left or right
by hand while you turning the set screw.
3. When the angle is set, tighten the lock
nut and the bevel locking lever.
ADJUSTING THE BEVEL STOP
TO 33.9° (FIG. 14)
NOTICE: Adjust the 33.9° bevel angle
only after performing the 45° bevel-angle
adjustment.

2. To set the 33.9° bevel angle, ip out
the stop bolts.
3. Loosen the bevel locking lever to
release the bevel lock.
4. Tilt the head assembly to the left. If the
pointer does not indicate exactly 33.9°,
