Notes on setting “F stop other than A”
When the “F stop other than A” in the custom functions is set to “On”, the
shutter can be released even if the aperture ring of an attached lens is not
set to the s position. However, the features will be restricted as shown in
the table below.

The aperture remains wide open
regardless of the aperture ring
position. The shutter speed varies
according to the aperture ring
position, however, an exposure

Pictures can be taken with the
specified aperture value and

therefore, the exposure cannot be
evaluated. Aperture value

aperture value manually specified,
however, an exposure error may
