Press the Playback button.

Press the Protect button (Z)
to display the protect screen.

Select [All] with the four-way
controller (45).

Press the four-way controller (2) to select [Protect] and
press OK.
The images are protected.
Protecting All Images
Select [Unprotect] in step 3 to cancel the Protect setting on all of the images.
Even protected images are deleted by formatting the CF card.
