Authentication Type: LEAP
Authentication Type: LEAP (Light Extensible Authentication Protocol) is an EAP
authentication method used primarily on Cisco Aironet wireless networks. This protocol
encrypts transmitted data using dynamically generated WEP keys, and supports two-way
authentication.
Identity: Enter your identity for the LEAP authentication service.
Password: Enter your password for the LEAP authentication service.
Show Password: Select this box if you do not want password characters to be replaced
with “*”.
Authentication Type: WPA, WPA-PSK, WPA2 or WPA2-PSK
Authentication Type: Select WPA, WPA-PSK, WPA2 or WPA2-PSK.
Encryption: Select the encryption method to be used.
TKIP (Temporal Key Integrity Protocol) uses stronger encryption algorithms and
MIC (Message Integrity Check) to provide security against hackers.
