Quick Start
User ID – Enter your username for your PPPoE/PPPoA connection.
Password – Enter your password for your PPPoE/PPPoA connection.
Protocol – Select your encapsulation and multiplexing type from the dropdown list.
VPI – Virtual Path Identifier. The valid range for the VPI is 0 to 255.
VCI – Virtual Channel Identifier. The valid range for the VCI is 1 to 65635 (0 to 31 is reserved
for local management of ATM traffic).
Connect – Establish connection using above parameters.
LAN configuration
IP Address – The default IP address of the router (as shown) is 192.168.1.1.
Netmask – The default subnet mask of your router is 255.255.255.0. This subnet allows the
router to support 254 users. If you want to support a larger number of users you can change
the subnet mask.
Default Gateway – The default gateway is the routing device used to forward all traffic that is
not addressed to a station within the local subnet. Your ISP provides you with the IP address
of the default gateway.
Host Name – The host name is used in conjunction with the domain name to uniquely identify
the router. It can be any alphanumeric word that does not contain spaces.
