Windows 2000/XP
1. Click Start → Settings → Control Panel.
Double-click the Network Connections icon
(2000/XP Classic view) or click Network and
Internet Connections icon and then Network
Connections icon (XP Default view).
2. Double-click the Local Area Connection icon.
3. In General tab, Click the Properties button.
4. In General tab, select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
and click Properties.
5. In General tab, select Obtain an IP address
automatically and DNS server address
automatically.
6. Click OK to save settings and close Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window.
