Windows 2000/XP
1. Click Start → Settings → Control Panel.
Double-click the Network Connections
(2000/XP Classic view) or click Network and
Internet Connections and then Network
Connections (XP Default view).
2. Double-click the Local Area Connection.
3. Click the Properties button.
4. Go to General tab, select Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP) and click Properties.
5. Go to General tab, select Obtain an IP
address automatically and DNS server
address automatically.
6. Then, click OK.
