Best route as – introduces parameters for the algorithm of
calculating the best route as the route determined more on
the basis of road throughput (fast route) or their length
(short route).
Skip roads of class (and worse) – skips road sections of
class equal or worse than specified. Option does not apply to
off-road or walking routes.
After route calculation – specifies the view displayed
immediately after route calculation. The view may represent
the entire route on the map, display information on the route
or show the first manoeuvre of the route (together with the
pilot panel) or remain unchanged.
Other
Automatic route correction - enables/disables automatic
route correction. If disabled, AutoMapa wil not recalculate the
route after driving off it.
Delete route after reaching - deletes the route after
reaching the END point.
Do not cross borders - disables border crossing when all
the route points are located on the territory of one country.
Does not apply to Schengen group countries.
Cost of U-turn specifies the penalty for U-turns. The number
of kilometres is added to the route length; the bigger the
penalty, the less U-turns will be proposed by the system.
Avoid dirt roads at the expense of - as above, regulates
the avoidance of dirt roads during route calculation.
ETA
ETA is the estimated time of arrival.
In this window you can specify the method of estimating the
time required for arriving at the destination. For that purpose
you can use average speed (car details setting screen)
and/or the current speed. By default, the estimate is based
on both parameters. The value in km/h, displayed at the top
of the screen, is the current average speed calculated by
AutoMapa.
3.3.3 GPS - Settings
General
In this window you can select the general settings for GPS
operation.
Option Start GPS at program start is automatically enabled
by default.
Synchronize clock with GPS time - the computer's
system time is synchronised with the time of the GPS signal.
GPS connected to port and Reading speed from port -
selection of GPS port and its speed is made automatically in
the COM1-9 range for speeds 4800 and 9600 bps. If the GPS
device uses a different COM port or different port speed,
manually select the correct parameters in accordance with
the data provided by the manufacturer.
