3 Operation
3.1.4 Melting/keeping food warm
Use the
button to switch on the function to melt or keep food warm. The cooking
timer is used to set the maximum melting/warming time.
The melt function (u) The function to keep food warm (U)
The melt function keeps the temperature
of the food at a constant 42 °C.
The function to keep food warm keeps
the temperature of the food at a constant
70 °C.
Switching on the melt function
The hob is switched on and a pan is on the cooking zone.
1. Touch the On/Off button

You will hear a single bleep and the display for each cooking zone will show ‘0.’.
2. Touch the button once. This is the melt function.
A light to the right above the button illuminates.
3. Touch the or the button for the desired cooking
zone. The display shows 'u.'.

food warm.
