SURFACE MOUNTING
The camera can be mounted on a wall or ceiling either where cable holes are already provided or where exposed
wiring is used with conduit.
1. Loosen the captive screws that attach the mounting base to the base cover using the bit for tamperproof
screws (supplied).
2. If you are installing the camera in a location with conduit, use a hexagon wrench (not supplied) to remove the
cap from the conduit hole on the mounting base.
When installing the camera using conduit, the female thread on the mounting base conforms to ANSI NPSM
(parallel pipe threads), 0.75-inch (refer to Connecting Conduit on page 48).
3. Install the mounting base on the wall or ceiling (refer to Figure 8).
NOTE: Only the same type of holes, A or B, shall be used for mounting (refer to Figure 9 on page 25).
