2.0 SCOPE 3.1 MODELS The information within this manual covers the installation of the HS2000 High Security Camera Enclosure. HS2000 High security corner mount enclosure designed to fit flush with the ceiling. For use in applications such as elevators, parking garages, classrooms, offices, detention cells, etc., requiring maximum protection from vandalism in an unobtrusive package. HS2000/BR Same as HS2000 except brass plated finish. HS2000/CH Same as HS2000 except chrome plated finish. 3.
4.0 INSTALLATION 4.2 MID-WALL MOUNTING Before installing the HS2000 to a wall, make certain that the mounting surface is able to support the full weight of the enclosure plus the camera and lens. To mount the HS2000 enclosure mid-wall, use the optional hood, HS2000H, and perform the following steps: 1. Determine the position for the hood. Using it as a template, mark and drill holes in the mounting surface. 2. Attach the hood with the required fasteners (minimum 3/8" diameter recommended). 3.
4.4 TAMPER SWITCH INSTALLATION 5.0 CARE AND MAINTENANCE The HS2000 enclosures come standard from the factory with a tamper switch installed. Should it become necessary to install a replacement switch, refer to Figure 1 for the correct position of the bracket/switch and perform the following steps: Maintenance performed at regularly scheduled intervals will help prolong the operational life and appearance of the equipment. 1.
