OPENING & CLOSING
Windows
Inhibiting rear window operation
WARNING: Whenever children are
seated in the rear seats, the window
locks should be activated for their safety.
There is a risk of death or serious injury if
a child operates the rear windows.
WARNING: Never leave children
unsupervised in a vehicle.
The rear windows can be operated from
the switches on the rear doors when the
window lock has not been activated.
To prevent passengers from operating
the rear window switches, the window
lock feature can be activated from either
the left Cockpit Panel or the Pilot Panel.
On the Pilot Panel, select >
DOORS and press the WINDOW
LOCK button to activate or
deactivate this feature.
On the left Cockpit Panel, press the
window lock icon to activate or
deactivate this feature.
The WINDOW LOCK button will illuminate
when child safety locks are activated.
Sunshades
For the comfort of your passengers, your
vehicle is equipped with power
sunshades in the rear window and both
rear passenger windows. Raising the
power sunshades in sunny weather
conditions can reduce glare and help
regulate the internal vehicle
temperature.
Side window sunshades
The side window sunshades are operated
by the window switches in the rear doors.
See Opening and Closing Windows
,
page 23.
After a window has been fully raised,
continue pressing up to raise the
sunshade for that window.
