The cruise control buttons are located
on the left hand switch housing and can
be operated with minimum movement
by the rider.

2. Cruise control SET/- button
Cruise control can be switched on or off
at any time but it can not be activated
until all the conditions described on
page 108
have been met.
Activating Cruise Control
To turn on the cruise control system,
press the SET/- button. The cruise
control symbol will be shown in the
display screen. The cruise control set
speed will be shown as ‘--’ indicating
that a speed has not yet been set.
To activate cruise control, the following
conditions have to be met:
• The motorcycle must be travelling
at a speed between 19 to 100 mph
(30 to 160 km/h).
• The motorcycle must be in 3
rd
gear
or higher.
• Once these conditions have been
met, press the SET/- button to
activate cruise control. The cruise
control symbol will be shown in a
green light in the TFT display to
indicate that cruise control is now
active.
The word SET will be shown next to the
cruise control symbol. The cruise control
set speed will be shown and the cruise
control light will illuminate in the
tachometer indicating that cruise
control is active.
