Starting/stopping the engine

the vehicle is in an enclosed space.
Exhaust fumes contain poisonous
carbon monoxide. Breathing exhaust
fumes could lead to unconsciousness
and death.
NOTE: Do not depress the accelerator
pedal when starting the engine.

2. Depress the brake pedal, press and
release the START/STOP button and
the engine will start.
3. If the START/STOP button is pressed
again while the engine is cranking,
cranking is stopped.

brake is the only means of preventing
the vehicle moving.
NOTE: Do not depress the accelerator
pedal when stopping the engine.
Do not switch the engine off
immediately after high speed/high load
running. Allow it to run for 2 minutes so
the engine temperature returns to
normal.
NOTE: When parking on steep downhill
slopes, turn the front wheels towards the
kerb. When parking on steep uphill
slopes, turn the front wheels away from
the kerb.
1. Pull the parking brake switch outwards
to apply.
NOTE: If the parking brake is not applied
manually, it will apply automatically
when the engine is stopped. Automatic
application can be overridden by holding
the parking brake switch in the off
position whilst opening the driver!s door.
