injuries in the event of an accident,
observe the following points:
•
Ensure that the driver!s chest is at
least 10 inches (25 centimeters) from
the air bag cover.
•
Do not lean forward over the
dashboard while the vehicle is in
motion.
•
Do not rest your feet on the
dashboard.
•
Only hold the steering wheel by the
outside of the rim. You could be
injured if the air bag deploys and you
are holding the inside of the steering
wheel.
• Occupants, particularly children,
must not lean on the doors from
inside the vehicle.
•
Ensure that there are no other
objects between the vehicle
occupants and the deployment area
of the air bags.
•
Because of the high speed at which
air bags deploy, there is a risk of
injuries caused by an inflating air bag.
