1. Remove the cover from the towing eye
mounting in the front bumper.
2. Screw the towing eye clockwise into the
mounting hole, ensuring that it is
screwed in to the full extent of the
thread.
NOTE: To avoid damage to the towing
eye and the vehicle, it is important to
ensure that the towing eye is in full
contact with the mating surface of the
front structure.
NOTE: A winch cable/strap must be
secured to the towing eye only or the
vehicle could be damaged.
3. Remove the towing eye, stow it in the
luggage compartment and refit the
cover to the towing eye mounting as
soon as the vehicle has been recovered.
