QUICK GUIDE
OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM
WARNING: If a forward facing child seat is fitted to the
passenger seat, make sure that the passenger seat is fully
rearwards and is positioned at the lowest height. A manual
passenger seat does not have height adjustment.
WARNING: If the child restraint system has not been fitted
correctly the child may not be restrained in an accident or
sudden braking and could be injured. When fitting a child
restraint system, observe the manufacturer's instructions on the
correct use of the child restraint.
Never place objects (e.g. a cushion) underneath the child
restraint. The base of the child restraint system must always be
in full contact with the seat. If a child restraint system is not
fitted correctly it may not provide the intended degree of
protection and may even cause injuries.
