Using the device for the first time
To use the device for the first time, complete the following steps:
 Switch on the device (see "Switching the device on and off" from page
30).
 Connect the appropriate headset to the device.
 If you are using a Bluetooth headset, proceed as described in section
"Enabling and disabling Bluetooth" from page 48.
Team A is set up on the device by default when the device is delivered. You
can communicate with the participants automatically in this mode.
 If you want to select a different team, proceed as described in section
"Selecting a team" from page 33.
The VAD mode is set up by default when the device is delivered.
 If you are using the device in PTT mode (mute function), proceed as
described in section "Switch audio modes" from page 45.
 To communicate, log on to a network (see "Settings in the "Network"
menu" from page 35).
