Audio modes
The device can be used in the following audio modes:
• VAD (Voice Activity Detection) mode: in this mode, speech is transmitted
automatically. All the participants in a group can speak at the same time.
This mode is recommended when all participants want to work just as in a
telephone conference.
• PTT mode (Push-To-Talk): In this mode, the microphone is switched off
(mute function). To speak, the participant must press the applicable button
(see "Switch audio modes" from page 45). This mode is recommended if
you work in noisy environments or if you do not want to be heard at all
times.
Devices operating in PTT mode or VAD mode can be used at the same time
on the mesh network.
