Task and function
The device allows up to ten participants in a conference to communicate
without additional infrastructure.
The ideal range between two participants is 200 meters with an unobstructed
view.
Outdoors, communication at distances of up to 2,000 meters is possible.
This value is an estimate and is for illustrative purposes.
The actual range is subject to several external factors, such as:
• Shadowing by the body
• Obstruction of view by solid walls, ceilings and buildings
• Number of participants (max. 10 participants)
If shadowed by the human body, the range can be improved if the devices
(A, B) are placed on the body as shown below, e.g. on the back. The range
can also be increased by using another device (C) as a repeater.
