Post Sleeve Installation Instructions
Place sleeve over existing 3.5 x 3.5 wooden post.
Place Base Cover over sleeve and shimmy to the bottom. It should slide loosely down and not scratch
the post sleeve, but if the base is to tight, you may need to file the corners to allow it to slide down.
Secure the Base Cover with the screw provided.
The hardware used to attach brackets to the Post Sleeve will secure the Post Sleeve to the existing post.
If you are not using any other hardware, you may want to place a shim in between the existing post and
the Post Sleeve, this will secure it.
Place the Post Cap on top.
