Installing the tub spout

□

□

Wrap thread sealant tape around the pipe

threads of the tub spout (I) outlet in a

clockwise direction, as shown.

Thread the spout (I) onto the threaded

connection in a clockwise direction until the

spout (I) becomes ush with the nished wall.

□

Use the strap wrench to tighten the spout (I).

Removing the plastic cap

□ Before installing the escutcheon (E), remove the

plastic cap from the valve body (D) by twisting

the cap in a clockwise direction.
