3.3. In parallel mode, terminals 24 & 27, 26 & 29 should be connected respectively with thick
conductive wire to prevent damage to the unit in the event of an overload.
4.4. Operating method (P 6070)
1. Setting voltage Output: Press current set button (7) to maximum current limit (factory
defaulted), then press voltage set button 3,4, 5 & 6 to your required voltage.
2. Setting up Limit current protection: Turn on power, voltage must be set bigger than ´zero´,
use thick conductor to connector terminal 12 & 14 (note: if output is more than 50V, min
of 5 resistor must be connected), then, adjust 7 & 8 buttons so that the current is your
required current value. Now, the production limit is set.
3. Use the function of lock: press 3 & 6 buttons or 4 & 5 buttons or 7 & 8 buttons. Any of the
two
set for 3 seconds. The unit is now preset, all buttons are inoperative. When power
supply is restarted, pre-set values are default values when turned on.
4. Release the lock-in values: press the same set of buttons for 3 seconds. Then the unit
gets back to the adjustable state.
4.5. Voltage and Current pre-set (lock-in) procedure
Pre-set Master Current or Voltage: press 5 &8 buttons or 6 & 7 button. Any of the two set for 3
seconds. Masters are now preset. To release preset lock-in values, press the same set of buttons
for 3 seconds.
Slave values preset or releases are done in similar fashions.
When voltage/current are locked in, all adjustors become dormant or inactive. When power supply
unit are re-started, pre-set values are default values when turned on.
5. CAUTION
In the event of a short circuit at the output the current will limit at the value set by the current
controls,
however the unit should be turned off and the short circuit removed before continuing use.
The mains power must be switched off before servicing and servicing should be referred to a
qualified
person.
The unit should be stored in a dry and well ventilated place and the power cord removed if storing
for long periods.
