5) Press and hold the ▲ button (5) to exit the MIN / MAX / AVG
mode.
Note:
During the MIN / MAX and AVG function, the data hold HOLD is
deactivated and vice versa.
6.5. zeroing
For self-calibration, the PeakTech 5086 can perform an automatic
zero calibration.
1) Turn on the device (7), but do not remove the cap from the
sensor.
2) Press the ZERO button (6) and "Adj" is displayed while the
measured value is set to zero.
3) If the zero setting does not work because the cap is not
properly seated on the sensor or the ambient brightness is
too great, "CAP" appears in the display.
4) If "CAP" is shown in the display, place the cap correctly on
the sensor or move to a darker environment and try again.
5) If the zeroing performed correctly, the unit will change to the
display of "Adj" and back to normal measurement function.
7. Internal Memory
7.1. Saving measurment values
The PeakTech 5086 has an internal memory of 99 readings in Lux
or Fc, but not for Candela. This memory is not "volatile" and holds
the measured values even when the device is powered off.
1) Perform a measurement of Lux or Fc values, as described in
the previous chapters.
