8.3. Getting started with "PeakTech
®
3315 Interface Program"
To run the Interface Program, please do the following:
1. The meter had infrared interface, which allows to connect to PC
via USB or RS-232 C. Insert the supplied Interface cable into
the slot at the meter´s backside and properly connect the other
end of the cable to the serial or USB port of computer as show
on following figure.
2. Press “RS-232”-button to activate the interface.
3. Front the Windows START menu, choose PROGRAMS >
P 3315 Interface Program > P 3315
4. Press “P3315.EXE” to select corresponding COM 1/ 2/ 3 / 4 if
using RS-232 C connection or press “USB Connect” from menu
bar when using USB connection to start the connection
between the computer and P 3315
5. When using USB connection it will automatically start.
