5.10. Resistance Measurements
WARNING
Do not connect any external voltage to the input jacks. When
connecting an external power source to the input jacks, there is
a risk of damage of the equipment.
WARNING:
To avoid electric shock, disconnect power to the unit under test
and discharge all capacitors before taking any resistance
measurements.
To test the resistance, please follow the following procedure:
1. Set the function switch to the  -position.
2. Insert the black test lead into the /CAP -input jack (-) for
Inductance measurements and the red test lead into /CAP
-input jack (+) for resistance measurements.
3. Connect the test leads to the inductance to be measured
and wait until the LCD-display stabilizes. It is best to
disconnect one side of the part under test so the rest of the
circuit will not interfere with the resistance reading.
4. Read the resistance in the display.
