measurement Set the selector switch to the measuring function Low
Z. With the MODE button it is possible to change the setting
between DC and AC voltage.
Phantom values: In low DC and AC voltage ranges and unconnected and thus open
inputs, the LCD display shows so-called phantom values: that means not "000". This is
normal and does not constitute a defect of the device.
The low input impedance of the Low Z metering function will not affect the meter.
3.3 Resistance measurement
Attention!
After switching the multimeter to the resistance measurement
function, do not connect the connected test leads via a voltage
source.
Only carry out resistance measurements on voltage-free circuits or
components and unplug the mains plug from the socket. Capacitors
in the circuit must be discharged before measuring.
The fork clamp meter is capable of measuring resistance between 0
and 60.00M.
The resistance measurement is selected by setting the selector
switch to the measuring function of the resistance measurement.
With the MODE button it is possible to select at this position the
resistance, capacitance, diode measurement and continuity test.
3.4 Continuity test, diode measurement and capacitance
measurement
For the selection of the respective measurement, the selection
switch is set to the resistance measurement. Now it is possible to
choose between the different types of measurement, using the
mode button, for the continuity test, diode measurement and
capacitance measurement.
