42. How to Use Executive Buttons
AUTOSET
This button is used for the automatic setting of all control values of the instrument to generate the waveform
suitable for observation. Press the AUTOSET button and the oscilloscope will perform the fast automatic
measurement of the signal.
The function items of AUTOSET are shown as the following table:

Enable or disable the waveform sampling.
Note: Under the Stop state, the vertical division and the horizontal time base of the waveform can be
adjusted within a certain range, in other words, the signal can be expanded in the horizontal or
vertical direction.
When the horizontal time base equal to or is less than 50ms, the horizontal time base can be
expanded for 4 divisions downwards.
U-DISK COPY
Insert U disk into USB port, then press “COPY” key and you can save the waveform data into the U disk.
There are two formats available for choice: Vector format and Bitmap which the corresponding name will be
WAVE1.BIN, WAVE2.BIN, WAVE3.BIN……or WAVE1.BMP, WAVE2.BMP, WAVE3.BMP……. Then you can
open the files in computer by connecting USB disk to computer.
Note: You can choose to save a screenshot in BMP-format or a raw-data file in BIN-format in the UTILITY
menu. During the U disk saving procedure, some notes such as “Waveform saving”, “Waveform
saved”, “USB already connected”, “USB connection interrupt ” etc will be prompted.
