1. From idle mode, press the OK Key to unlock the keypad, press the Left
Soft Key [Message], swivel to the QWERTY keypad, then press

2. Select the desired contact name to view and press the OK Key.
Press the Right Soft Key
[Options] to access following options:
t
Erase: To delete a message.
t
Sort Alphabetically: To view messages sorted alphabetically.

Add To Contacts: Save number to contacts.

Manage Inbox: Manage messages with following options:
Erase: To delete a message.
Lock: To lock a message.
Unlock: To unlock a message.
3. Select a message then press the OK Key [OPEN] to view the message.
4. Press the Directional Key
right / left to view the next / previous
message.
5. Press the Right Soft Key
[Options] to access the following
options.
t
Forward: Forward the message.
t
Reply w. Copy: Select to reply with the original message included.
t
Save Quick Text: Save the text to Quick Text.
t
Lock / Unlock: Lock or unlock the message.
t
Add To Contacts: Save the number to the Contact List.
t
Extract Addresses: To extract all phone numbers, email addresses and URLs from the
received message.
t
Message Info: Select to view received or sent message information.
DRAFTS
The Drafts Folder contains any draft messages or saved messages. If message
composition is interrupted by a voice call or other interrupting event, the mes-
sage being composed is automatically saved in the Drafts Folder.
1. From idle mode, press the OK Key to unlock the keypad, press the
Left Soft Key [Message], swivel to the QWERTY keypad, then
press 3. Drafts.
2. Select a message and then press the OK Key [EDIT]. The message is
displayed.
3. To delete a message, press the Left Soft Key
[Erase], then select
Yes and press the OK Key.
4. Press the Right Soft Key
[Options] to access the following:
t
Send: Select to send the selected message.
t
Lock/Unlock: Select to lock or unlock the message.
t
Add To Contacts: Select to save the number to the Contact List.
t
Erase Drafts: To erase all drafts messages.
