ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,pursuanttoPart15ofthe
FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference in a residential
installation.
Thisequipment generatesusesand canradiateradio frequency energyand, if not installedandusedin accordance with
the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that
interference will not occur in a particular installation. If
this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to

Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.

exceedtheemissionlimits
forexposuretoradiofrequency(RF)energysetbytheFederalCommunicationsCommissionoftheU.S.Government.These
limitsarepartofcomprehensiveguidelinesandestablishpermittedlevelsofRFenergyforthegeneralpopulation.The
guidelinesarebasedonstandardsthatweredevelopedbyindependentscientificorganizations
throughperiodicand
thoroughevaluationofscientificstudies.Thestandardsincludeasubstantialsafetymargindesignedtoassurethesafetyof
allpersons,regardlessofageandhealth.Theexposurestandardforwirelessmobilephonesemploysaunitof
measurementknownastheSpecificAbsorptionRate,orSAR.TheSAR
limitsetbytheFCCis1.6W/kg.*Tests forSARare
conductedwiththephonetransmittingatitshighestcertifiedpowerlevelinalltestedfrequencybands.AlthoughtheSAR
isdeterminedatthehighestcertifiedpowerlevel,theactualSARlevelofthephonewhileoperatingcanbe
wellbelowthe
maximumvalue.Thisisbecausethephoneisdesignedtooperateatmultiplepowerlevelssoastouseonlythepower
requiredtoreachthenetwork.Ingeneral,thecloseryouaretoawirelessbasestationantenna,thelowerthepower
output.Beforeaphone
modelisavailableforsaletothepublic,itmustbetestedandcertifiedtotheFCCthatitdoesnot
exceedthelimitestablishedbythegovernmentadoptedrequirementforsafeexposure.Thetestsareperformedin
positionsandlocations(e.g.,attheearandwornonthebody)as
requiredbytheFCCforeachmodel.ThehighestSAR
valueforthismodelphonewhentestedforuseattheearis0.408W/Kgandwhenwornonthebody,asdescribedinthis
userguide,is0.651W/Kg(Body‐wornmeasurementsdifferamongphonemodels,dependinguponavailableaccessories
andFCC
requirements).ThemaximumscaledSARinhotspotmodeis0.651W/Kg.Whiletheremaybedifferencesbetween
theSARlevelsofvariousphonesandatvariouspositions,theyallmeetthegovernmentrequirementforsafeexposure.

Body‐wornOperation
Thisdevicewastestedfortypicalbody‐wornoperations.TocomplywithRFexposurerequirements,aminimumseparation
distanceof10mmmustbemaintainedbetweentheuser’sbodyandthehandset,includingthe
antenna.Third‐party
belt‐clips,holsters,andsimilaraccessoriesusedbythisdeviceshouldnotcontainanymetalliccomponents.Body‐worn
