Camera and Video 101
3. Frame your subject on the screen.
Tip: Hold the device vertically when taking portrait shots or hold the device horizontally when
taking landscape shots. Then you will not need to rotate the photo after capturing it.
4. Touch to take the photo.
5. Choose what you want to do with the photo you’ve just taken. See Review Screen for
details.
Close the Camera
To close the camera, on the camera screen, press or .
Record Videos
Record videos that are high quality using your device’s video camera.
1. Press and touch > Camera, and then switch to camcorder mode.
2. If necessary, change the camcorder settings.
3. Frame the scene which you want to start your video.
4. Touch to start recording a video.
5. Touch to stop recording.
Camera Settings
Touch to select the following camera settings:
● Picture size: Set the picture size (3M Pixels, 2M Pixels, 1M Pixels, VGA and QVGA).
● Picture quality: Set the picture quality (Super fine, Fine and Normal).
● Color effect: Set the color effect (None, Mono, Sepia, Negative and Aqua).
● Camera settings: Restore the camera default settings after you touch Restore defaults.
View Pictures and Videos Using Gallery
You can view pictures and videos using Gallery that you’ve taken with your device’s camera, or
have downloaded, or copied onto your storage card.
For photos that are on your storage card, you can do basic editing such as rotating and
cropping. You can also easily make a photo as your contact picture or wallpaper and share
photos with your friends.
