Hold the card at the
test distance from
the reader, press &
hold the button.
The lights will flash once to
indicate, battery condition & start of test.
Continue to hold the button, the lights will
display the read range condition. Perform
this test 3 times to confirm the field.

To replace the battery, remove the screw,
insert a flat blade tool into the slot & twist
to release the casing. To close engage the
two clips & press together firmly.
Replace the screw.
The test card is used to determine the range of the 125 kHz P series reader and its ability to transmit
data to a hands free token. This will determine the range of the hands free system as the token must
rst receive the interface address before sending its own token number to the interface itself.
If the tester shows a Green indication conrming receipt of the reader data but the hands free system
is still unreliable, then the interface will need to be relocated to a better position.
The above label is attached to the test card itself.
