STEP 3. Set the Table-

top upside down on

a at surface. Slide

the grooved ends of

one "H" piece over the

tongue pieces cut into

the Tabletop corners

(FIGURE 4), repeat-

ing with the other "H"

piece and remaining

two tongue pieces,

tapping the Legs lightly

with a Rubber Mallet, if

necessary.

STEP 2. Using a

Drill tted with the

Square-Head Drill Bit

provided, screw one

Flathead Screw into

the hole opposite

the Spreader on the

outside of the top

chair Leg from STEP

1, careful not to

overtighten (FIGURE

). Flip the "H" to its

opposite side, using

another Flathead

Screw to attach the

opposite Leg to the

Spreader. Repeat

STEPS 1-2 to connect

the other Spreader

and two remaining

Legs.

STEP 4. Insert Barrel Bolt into a hole near one Tabletop corner

opposite where a Leg connects (FIGURE 5), tapping gently with a

Rubber Mallet, if necessary. Fit the Bolt Fastener over the bottom

of the Barrel Bolt, following the instructions on Using Barrel Bolts

on the other side of this page; hand-tighten only. Repeat this

step with the three remaining Tabletop holes and Barrel Bolt

Assembly.

STEP 5. Using the Allen Wrench and a Standard Phillips Head

Screwdriver, go back and fully tighten the four Barrel Bolt As-

sembly from STEP 4 (FIGURE 6), careful not to over-tighten.

STEP 6 Set your Durawood Essentials Side Table upright —

you're done with assembly, and ready to enjoy it!
