Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box.

2. Cut off the cable near the bottom
of the adapter (A).
3. Thread the cable through the
canopy (GG) and two holes of
the strain relief (EE).
4. Measure the desired length of the
cable(a) from the canopy to the
top side of the main fixture and
leave an additional 9" of cable (b)
above the canopy (GG) (include
the canopy), and then cut off the
unnecessary cable.
Adjust strain relief at 9" position
from the top of the cable.
Mark the 3" of cable (c) from the
top of the cable (b). Use a knife to
peel off the insulation of the
cable(c) carefully to expose three
internal wires.
Note: Cutting too deep may cut off the internal
wires and destroy the insulation surface of the
internal wires.
Peel off the wires from the top about 3/8" long(d) to
expose the copper for wiring.
7. Attach the canopy (GG) to the
mounting strap unit (AA) by
inserting the screws, then secure
it with two bolt nuts (DD).

5. Pull down the cable slightly until the
strain relief (EE) touches the hex nut.
Fastening cable by screwing the
plastic headless screw, using the
flathead screwdriver (FF).

6. Pull out the source wires from the
outlet box. Make wire connections
using wire connectors (CC) as
follows:
-- Connect the fixture black wire to
the house black wire using wire
connectors (CC) provided.
-- Connect the fixture white wire to
the house white wire using wire connectors (CC)
provided.
-- Connect the bare groundwire from the canopy to
the mounting strap unit (AA) by securing it with the
preinstalled ground screw, and then connect it to
the fixture green ground wire and the house
ground wire with wireconnectors (CC).
Tuck all the wires into outlet box.

8. Install a Max.60W Vintage
Bulb (HH) (included).
Attach the glass shade (C) to the
glass holder by threading set
screws onto the glass notch.
(Please do not overtighten.)
Turn on the power at fuse or circuit
box.
1. Attach mounting strap unit (AA) to
the outlet box using two mounting
screws (BB). Adjust the length of
long screws on the mounting strap
unit (AA) if necessary.
