7. Connect the HOT wire from the fixture to the HOT wire from the adapter cover. Fasten each

together with a wire nut and wrap the connection with electrical tape. Be sure that no wire

strands are exposed.

8. Carefully, tuck all the wires and wire nuts into the adapter holder.

9. Pull the cable down until the strain

relief hits the bottom of the adapter

holder. Then replace the spring and

slide pad (Figure 5-a), and fasten the

adapter cover to the adapter holder

(Figure 5-b) with the 2 set screws.
