3. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION:
Remove junction box cover and appropriate knockout(s) to accommodate respective
electrical service. Luminaire has been designed to accommodate metallic conduit and
non-metallic cable, metallic conduit must be used if local code requires it. Round
knockouts are dedicated for metallic cables and rectangular knockouts are to be utilized
for non-metallic cables. Connect supply leads to wires in fixture junction box. Connect
white to white, black to black and green supply wire to bare copper wire. Provide electrical
service to fixture per NEC and local electrical code from a suitable junction box to junction
box located on fixture. Fixture must be supplied with wire rated for at least 90°C.

4. The height of the bulb maybe adjusted by loosening the wing nut inside the canister, adjusting the socket
plate up or down, and re-tightening the nut. (See Fig.3)
5. The bulb should be installed prior to restoring the electrical power.
6. INSTALL TRIMS
a. Before installing frame baffle to housing, press down all "L" tabs in the housing to allow proper side clearance
between housing wall and frame baffle. Place the trim in position under the fixture and while working from inside
the can attach the hook side of the spring to highest slots in the fixture. (See Fig.3)
b. In some cases, if the spring is blocked by the socket plate to reach the highest slots, just to plate springs
into key slot holes provided in the socket plate. And regardless of the hook end of the spring, slide the half
of the spring into the narrow slot of the keyhole. This can be accomplished by inserting the pointed end of
a pencil into the loop of the hook side of the spring and manipulating the hook into position. (See Fig.4)
