1. Attach the mounting strap to the outlet box by using

two mounting screws.

2. Thread the fixture cord through two fix ring, cap nut,

canopy and strain relief. Cut the fixture cord to get

desired length, making sure to leave 9” extra for wiring.

Pull the fixture cord down until the strain relief touches

the hex nut. Then secure the cap nut. (See Fig.2)

Note: Adjusting the strain relief and cap nut can

decrease or increase the length of cord that is

exposed.

3. Adjust the length of the safety cords by pushing the

knobs upward, once the desired lengths obtained,

cut the safety cord at least 3” above the canopy.

Insert the free end of the safety cord through the

cord clamp to make a ring and secure it with two

set screw. See Fig.1 for detail.

4. Screw the long threaded pipe into the coupling of the

socket set, secure it with a washer and hex nut.

5. Install bulbs (not included). See relamping label at

socket area or packaging for maximum allowed

wattage.

6. Screw a hex nut about 1” down from the other

end of long threaded pipe. Then slip glass

panel through the long threaded pipe until

it checks with the straight pin of the

frame, secure it with a collar and end

cap.

7. Pull out the outlet wires and house

grounding wire from the outlet box.

Make wire connections using the

wire nuts:

a. The clear wire marked "L" from the

fixture to the black wire from the

power source.

b. The clear wire with white line and

marked "N" from the fixture to the

white wire from the power source.

c. The clear grounding wire with green

line and marked " " from the

fixture to the green grounding wire

from power source.

Carefully put the wires back into the outlet box.

8. Attach the canopy up to the mounting strap by aligning holes, then secure it with two screws.

Note: Adjust the balance of frame by pushing the knobs on canopy and adjusting safety cords.

9. Turn on the power at the main fuse or circuit breaker box.
