ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

INSTALLATION

Caution: Make sure power is off at fuse or circuit breaker box.

Check power wires for damage or scrapes.

1.) Carefully slide and pull out diffuser (B) from fixture body (A).

By pulling spring loaded end cap (C) to release diffuser.

NOTE: The other side end cap is stationary to the channel.

2.) Remove appropriate knockouts on fixture body (A) for supply

power source entry and junction box mounting. Protect wires

passing to hole with snap bushing (not included).

3.) Position the center of the frame fixture body (A) over the center

of the junction box. Mark all appropriate mounting

locations

within the mounting slots on the fixture body (A). Take the fixture

body (A) down. Use a stud finder to locate joists in the ceiling

or using a nail or awl to punch a small hole at center of marked

locations to see if there is a wood joist above.

NOTE: Do not mount the Frame Channel to the ceiling at this time.

WIRING

NOTE: All wire splices must take place inside junction box.

CAUTION: Make sure power is off at fuse or circuit breaker box.

Check wires for damage or scrapes. If supply power source wires are

within 7.62 cm (3 in.) of the LED driver, use wire suitable for at

least 90 ° C (194 ° F).

4.) Run wires from driver through fixture body (A)

before making wire connections. Strip supply wires 1.27 cm (1/2 in.)

if needed. Use wire nut (AA) to connect white wire from LED

driver to white (N) supply power source wire. Use wire nut (AA) to

connect black wire from LED driver to black (L) supply power source

wire. Cover wire nuts and connections completely with electrical tape.

Connect green or copper wire from power supply to green wire from

channel with wire nut (AA). Do not mix wires.Tuck wires securely

back into junction box.

Note: This unit will not operate properly unless connected to a

“grounded” electrical circuit. Electrical shock, over-heating, low or

no light output, and shortened LED life can result if proper

grounding is not done.
