Installation Instructions

1. Remove the Gem Bar (AA) from the Canopy (A) by removing the

two Flathead screws (DD).

4. Connect the green wire from the fixture to the supply source

ground wire. Connect the white wire from the fixture (AC) to the

white (N) wire from supply power source. Connect the black fixture

wire (AC) to the black (L) wire from supply power source. Note: Do

not mix DC and AC wires as outline above.

2. Mount Gem Bar (AA) to the junction box (not included) using the

two junction box screws (BB) provided.

Wiring – all wiring must take place inside junction box.

Caution: Make sure power is off at fuse or circuit breaker box.

Check power wires for damage or scrapes. If power supply wires

are within three inches of the LED driver, use wire suitable for at

least 90°C (194°F). Note: Most dwellings built before 1985 have

supply wire rated to 60°C. Consult a qualified electrician to ensure

correct branch circuit conductor before installing.

5. Place fixture Canopy (A) over the Gem Bar (AA), and align the

mounting holes with the holes on the Gem Bar. Secure the fixture

using Flat Head Screws (DD).

Power to the fixture may now be restored.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

3. Determine drop height to assemble stems section. It includes 108”

long cord with 72” long stems section reaching a total of 85” measured

from ceiling to bottom of the fixture. The stems included are one 24” long,

three 12” long, and two 6” long. Assemble stems (EE) to the fixture (A) as

needed to achieve desired drop height. It is easier to feed fixture cord

through each stem prior to connecting them together. Turn clockwise to

tighten and secure it to the canopy (A). Insert fixture cord (low voltage

side – DC) marked positive (+) wire to driver side positive (+) red wire

connector. Insert fixture cord (low voltage side – DC) marked negative (-)

wire to driver side negative (-) black wire connector. Excess cord can be

coiled and twist tie to hide inside the canopy. This fixture is suitable for

65° max. slope ceiling.
