If, during normal use, this PATRIOT LIGHTING

lighting fixture breaks or fails due to a defect in material and workmanship within five (5) years from the date of original

purchase, simply bring this light fixture with the original sales receipt back to your nearest MENARDS

retail store. At its discretion, PATRIOT LIGHTING

agress to have

the product or any defective part(s) repaired or replaced with the same or similar PATRIOT LIGHTING

product or part free of charge, within the stated warranty period,

when returned by the original purchaser with original sales receipt. This warranty; (1) excludes expendable parts including but not limited to light bulbs; (2) does not cover

damage that has resulted from abuse or misuse; and (3) does not cover any losses, labor, injuries to persons/property or costs. This warranty does give you specific legal

rights and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state. See inside installation instruction for full terms and conditions.

SAFETY INFORMATION Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble operate or install the product. WARNING RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK - Prior to installation of this fixture or removal of a previous fixture, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. RISK OF FIRE Use bulbs specified by the marking and/or labels on the fixture. Consult a qualified electrician to ensure correct branch circuit conductor.

PRE-INSTALLATION PREPARATION To avoid damaging the product, assemble it on a soft, non-abrasive surface, such as carpet or cardboard. Inspect each part for defects such as the wire insulation for any cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper that may have occurred during shipping. If there is a defect in the wire, do not continue the assembly process.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Adjust the fixture chain (GG) and (HH) to the desired length by removing the extra links, if needed. You may need to use pliers (not included) to open the chain links (II). If so, put a cloth over the chain link to protect the finish from the pliers. 1 B II II GG GG Pull the fixture wire and ground wire up through the fixture chain (GG) and (HH), alternating links, and then pass the wires through the canopy (B).

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 3. Attach the ground fixture wire to either green ground screw (CC) on universal crossbar (EE) or to the ground wire in the outlet box (usually GREEN or BARE). 3 If attaching to the ground wire in the outlet box, fasten together with a wire nut (AA) and tightly wrap with electrical tape (not included). G CC ND EE Important: It is important that the outlet box in your home is properly grounded.
