SAFETY INFORMATION
PREPARATION
WARNING: These products may represent a possible shock or re hazard if improperly installed
or attached in any way. Products should be installed in accordance with these instructions, current
electrical codes, and/or the current National Electric Code (NEC). Disconnect power to the unit prior
to installation.
WARNING: To reduce risk of re, electric shock, or injury to persons,
Read all installation instructions before beginning. If you have any doubts about how to install this
lighting xture, or if the xture fails to operate completely, consult a qualied electrician to ensure
correct branch circuit conductor.
This xture is designed for use in a circuit protected by a fuse or circuit breaker.
Always be sure that power supply is turned o󰀨 at fuse box or circuit breaker before installing,
cleaning, or servicing the xture.
This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a person
familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.
To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or injury to persons, do not make or alter any open holes
in a wiring enclosure nor in any electrical components during kit installation.
To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other
sharp objects.
There are no serviceable parts inside the xture.
Suitable for indoor dry and damp locations only.
Suitable for contact with insulation
The installer must determine that supply power is 120V AC 50/60Hz at the luminaire before
installation.
The National Electric Code (NEC) does not permit cords to be concealed where damage to
the cord’s insulation may go unnoticed. To prevent re damage, do not run cord behind walls,
ceilings, so󰀩ts, or cabinets where it may be inaccessible for examination. Cords should be visually
examined periodically and immediately replace when any damage is noted.
Do not cover the xture with any heat insulated materials.
To avoid electrical shock, do not operate xture with missing or damaged lens.
WARNING: To reduce risk of cuts,
Some metal parts in the xture may have sharp edged. Wear gloves when handling the part.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. For safest operation, read and become familiar with complete
installation instructions prior to use. Pay close attention to this manual and stay within its guidelines
when using this product.
CAUTION:
All parts must be used as indicated in this manual. Do not substitute any parts, leave parts out,
or use parts that are worn out or broken. Failure to obey this instruction could invalidate the ETL
certication.
Do not mount over a sink, tub or shower - these are considered wet locations. The xture is not
rated for use in wet locations.
LEDs emit bright light. Avoid looking directly at the light source.
Accounts for small parts and destroy packing material, as these may be hazardous to children.
WARNING
• Turn o󰀨 electricity at main fuse box (or circuit breaker box) before beginning installation by removing fuse (or
switching o󰀨 circuit breaker).
• Ground the xture to avoid potential electric shocks and to ensure reliable starting.
• Be careful not to damage or cut the wire insulation (covering) during xture installation. Do not permit
power cord or housing to contact any surface having a sharp edge. To do so may damage or cut the wire
insulation, which could cause serious injury or death from electric shock.
• This xture is rated for 120V AC operation and draws 15W per xture.
• For recessed can installation, begin at step 1. For surface installation to junction box, begin at step 4.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. For recessed can installation: A󰀩x the torsion springs (B) to the
mounting bracket (C), aligning the notches for 5” or 6” (according
to the can size being used) with the center screw holes. Use
torsion spring mounting screws (F) to secure in place. Attach the
mounting bracket (C) to the xture (A) by aligning with the slot
on the back of the xture (A) and securing on either side of the
xture (A) using the provided white plugs (J).

2. Attach the bare wire leads from the xture to the E26 base
with quick connector (D) by stabbing the wires into the orange
quick connector, being sure to match polarity (black to black
and white to white). Screw the E26 base into the E26 socket
inside of the recessed can. Connect the grounding wire from
the mounting bracket (C) to the grounding point inside of the
recessed can.

3. Squeeze the torsion clips (B) and push the xture (A) up into
the recessed can until ush with the ceiling. See Step 6 for
guidance on adjusting the CCT settings.

4. For surface installation to junction box: Attach the mounting
bracket (C) to the junction box using the machine screws
(G). Connect supply wires to xture wires, ensuring to match
polarity (white to white, black to black, ground to ground) and
insulate connections with included wire nuts (E).

5. Attach the mounting bracket (C) to the xture (A) by
aligning with the slot on the back of the xture (A)
and securing on either side of the xture (A) using the
provided white plugs (J).
6. Use the 3-position switch on the back of the xture to
adjust the correlated color temperature of the light from
warm white to bright white to daylight.
