OK to Wake! Plush Owl:
Functional Issues: Not behaving properly after changing the batteries
The Owl’s settings must be updated with a battery change. It is also
important to validate the MODE the Owl is in for an expected behavior. A
review of current settings will often solve these issues.
Playing Continuously: Playing continuously and not stopping at the Auto-off time
Low batteries could cause this. Brand new batteries should solve the
problem.
Tummy Button: The button on the Owl is difficult for little ones to press
Angle the button in the Owl so that it sits lower than the pajama shirt
which can sometimes get in the way.
Teach Me Time!:
Functional Questions: How to set the green OK to Wake light
The "On" time is the time that the YELLOW night-light turns on (typically in
the evening).
The "Off" time is the time that both YELLOW and GREEN lamps are off.
The "Change (Cng)" time is the time that the YELLOW light changes to GREEN
and it is set last of the three settings. The reason for this is that the
YELLOW "On" time and the "Off" time define a window of time and the "Change"
time must fall between this (which the clock enforces automatically).
So if you want your night-light to come on at 8 at night, your ON time is
8:00 PM. If you’d like the Green Light to go on at 7 in the morning, your
CNG time is 7:00 AM. If you’d like all lights off by 7:30 in the morning to
start your day, the OFF time is 7:30 AM.
Volume: The clock (or game) is not “talking”
The first thing to check is the volume. In the control panel on the back,
the +/- button used for HOURS in any of the SET modes, also controls the
volume when you are NOT in any of the SET modes. There are three levels as
well as an OFF position.
To check the volume level, make sure the clock is not in any of the set
modes or the game mode and toggle the +/- button for HOURS up. You should
see the levels indicated on the front display in the digital clock region.
Lighting: The Teach Me Time! clock does not go completely dark (there is always
some light from the clock).
There are two different sets of lights in the clock: (1) the toe lights/LCD
backlight and (2) the lamps that illuminate the white body of the clock
(referred to as the night-light in the manual).
