Weather-resistance that
meets all the requirements.
The NEC
®
requires that Weather-
Resistant Receptacles be installed in
wet or damp locations such as porches,
decks, and other outdoor locations
where challenging conditions can cause
premature failure due to cracked covers
and corrosion. All Weather-Resistant
Receptacles must meet stringent
UL listing requirements, including:
■ Ultraviolet light exposure
■ Cold impact
■ Accelerated aging
■ Proper materials for current-
carrying parts, wire binding screws,
and mounting straps to ensure
superior corrosion resistance
Pass & Seymour Weather-Resistant
Receptacles have you covered, with a
variety of duplex, Decorator, and specifi-
cation-grade receptacles in commercial
versions and in residential versions
which are also tamper-resistant. So you
can be assured that in tough environ-
ments, Legrand/Pass & Seymour is up to
the challenge.
P&S Weather-Resistant
Receptacles and GFCIs
are built to last in wet
locations like decks,
porches, and patios.
Their tamper-resistant
design meets the latest
code requirements.
